Artist/Educator/Producer


Coral Brookes (Shropshire, 1995) is a visual artist. Working across drawing, sculpture and participatory projects, she playfully considers how natural and fabricated environments and objects can relate to bodies and behaviour. Coral has coordinated and facilitated creative learning for over 8 years in a range of contexts including universities, colleges, schools, galleries and in the community. Coral is currently one of the Creative Connections artists working with Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. In 2024 she coordinated and delivered 'Blend, Fold, Move', a school's programme with Sculpture House Collective, Paisley and 'Villanova' a community programme and exhibition, investigating and reimagining archives at Cumbernauld Theatre. In 2023 Coral developed and led 'Murmuration', a collaborative studio-based sculpture programme in East Glasgow which will continue in 2025.
